What are Approved Farm Parks?

RBST Approved Farm Parks play an important role in livestock conservation. They demonstrate the value of rare breeds to the public, many of whom are unaware of the breeds we support and the work of the Trust. The Approved Farm Parks are involved in the conservation, breeding and promotion of rare or endangered breeds of farm animals. The farm parks are regularly inspected by the Trust to maintain high standards in order to be accredited, making them ideal places for a family day out or school trip. There are currently 16 Approved Farm Parks around the UK operated by local authorities, charities and by individuals who have diversified their farming activities.
