Home Farm was the hub of Tatton Estate in the 19th Century. Lord Egerton kept many of the breeds we have here today. See our Clydesdale horses, six rare breeds of pigs and various poultry. Cattle include Red Poll, Dexter and Shorthorn. We house goats, Hebridean and Soay sheep. School children can become evacuees as part of WWII days and we hold regular adult education activities. We host monthly events during high season and on site is a gift shop and school room. Estate produce is sold in the housekeepers store. Traditional farm building house agricultural equipment from bygone days. Step back in time and enjoy the farmyard fun.
