Legacies

People from all walks of life, young and old, give to the RBST during their lifetime. By extending your support and leaving a gift to the RBST in your Will you can help us to ensure that rare breeds of native farm animals are enjoyed by generations to come.

 A gfit in your will doesn't have to be a large amount of money. We receive legacies varying from £500 to many thousands of pounds and all are gratefully received as donations to the cost of our conservation activities. We understand that you will want to remember your family and friends first, but any gift in your Will to RBST will be very much appreciated. 

If you have already made a Will, but feel that you would like to include a gift to RBST, you should contact your solicitors and ask them to add a codicil to your Will. If you are considering making a Will, we strongly advise that you consult a solicitor, who will be able to advise you about any tax implications and ensure that your Will reflects your wishes and is a valid legal document.
