RBST Trustee Wins Prestigious RABDF Princess Royal Award

Tim Brigstocke, Chairman of the RBST Conservation Committe, has been presented with the Royal Association of British Dairy farmers' Princess Royal Award by Her Royal Highness at Buckingham Palace on Thursday 8 May. The honour was made for his outstanding services to the industry.

In addition to his considerable work for the RBST, Previous achievements have included managing the unification of the Holstein Friesian Society and the British Holstein Society to form Holstein UK and Ireland. As Chairman of RABDF he worked to establish a template for dairy farm costings including quantifying, for the first time, the true costs of family labour.

This award closely follows the MBE which Tim received in the New Year's Honours list.
