It’s time to think again about giving recognition to some of RBST’s ‘unsung heroes’ as nominations open for the 2019 RBST Marsh Awards.

Full details of the award scheme, together with the nomination form, are included in the leaflet which comes with this issue (Spriing 2019) of The Ark.

You can make nominations for the Marsh Award for Support Group Volunteer, the Marsh Award for Conservation in Genetic Bio-diversity and the Lifetime Achievement Award. For an idea of the type of achievement typically honoured, see the Summer 2018 issue of The Ark for details of last year’s award recipients.

Nominations will go forward for consideration by the independent judging panel and the official presentation will take place at this year’s Royal Three Counties Show in June. Nominations close at 12 noon on May 15th.
