Two mature, registered Jacob ewes, halter trained with a very gentle temperament and used to handling. Part of a flock that has won the Jacob Sheep Society small flock competition 3 times. Both wormed and on the heptavac p-plus system. In good condition ready for tupping. Alternatively, as they are so friendly and quiet they would make ideal pet sheep or paddock grazers. Pedigree certificates available for both.

The ewe on the left of the photo with two sheep in it is a particularly large sheep with a long, deep body. Lambs easily, good mother. At her last lambing she produced triplets (photo 2016) and the year before, twins weighing 5.75 kg and 5.00 kg respectively with no assistance required. DOB 01.03.12. [The dam/mother to this ewe was breed champion at the Romsey show and is still in our flock at the age of 16 having produced a total of 16 lambs, the last when she was 11 in 2014].

The ewe on the right was 1st in her class as a ewe lamb at the Rare Breeds Show at Singleton and went on to become Reserve Breed Champion. Her grand dam and grand sire were both breed champions. This ewe consistently produces twins. Brilliant mother producing good sized lambs with no assistance (photo of twin lambs in 2017). DOB 10.03.13.

Two home-bred ewes that have been prominent within the flock and will be sad to part with them. Must reduce my flock as I have limited pasture, which will be needed at lambing.

Would like sheep to be sold together, and not sold for meat.

£65.00 each.
