After last years success we're back with the support of our partners Jimmy's Farm, Slow Food UK, British Pig Association and the British Lop Society.

This competition is a great opportunity to showcase your native breeds and promote your produce, so why not enter?

All entries must be commercially viable at the time of entering the awards either through local markets, independent retailers, via online shops or to order, and entries must be made to the same standards and recipe as the sausages available commercially.

What you need to know

  • It costs £24 per entry
  • Entry forms must be received by 6th July 2018
  • Sausages must arrive between 9am and 5pm on Thursday 19th July
  • Where possible sausages should be sent for judging in their retail packaging

How does the judging actually work?

Judging is over 2 days, with a round being held prior to the final. All sausages entered will be awarded 0-3 stars as appropriate. The top 6 sausages from the round will go forward into the final with a variety of awards up for grabs. The final will be judged at Jimmy's Festival where Jimmy will be assisted by the finest judges, to decide the top sausages and Champion of Champions Sausage!
