Why Corporate Support?

Join us in the fight to keep our Rare and Native breeds alive.

With the help of our supporters, we can continue our vital work in conserving and promoting rare breeds.

Partnerships of all types are an essential way in which RBST can achieve its crucial goal of ensuring that the sustainability and diversity represented by our native breeds are safeguarded for the future.

Since its foundation, RBST has enjoyed the support of commercial partners, whose financial contribution has played an important part in ensuring that its work continues. In recognising the importance of that contribution, RBST has reviewed its corporate offers, looking to make them work better for both partners and RBST.

Corporate Supporters

The role that native breeds can play in contributing to the future development of food production is increasingly being recognised. Their genetic diversity is at the heart of all this and it is that diversity which RBST is working to maintain.

By becoming an RBST corporate supporter, you are not just supporting this vital work, you are demonstrating to your own audience that you are working as part of the native breed community, supporting the breeders of native livestock and promoting their produce.

As an RBST Corporate Supporter, you will:

  • Enjoy the use of the RBST Annual Corporate Supporter logo* on your premises, your website and your literature**
  • See your name and logo on the Corporate Supporters’ page of the RBST website and also featured in the RBST Annual Report
  • Receive an invitation to one RBST members’ event a year
  • Receive two copies of each edition of The Ark

The annual cost of the RBST Corporate Support package is priced at £500 plus VAT, payment by direct debit, with an option to pay monthly.

Corporate partnerships

In addition to the standard Corporate Support package, RBST will also be happy to discuss bespoke arrangements such as sponsorship of a conference or major event. These will be tailored to the individual needs of the sponsor and will also include the benefits of an annual Corporate Support package.

*In accordance with RBST brand guidelines.

**Use of the RBST logo on products will not be permitted as this could be interpreted as a warranty of provenance.

    Loving Longwools

From borrowing some exotic sheep to clear their smallholding to running a self-sufficient fleece flock has taken Sascha and Alex Docwra just four years. Now they not only keep and breed their own sheep, they supply breeding stock which is helping to establish new flocks of registered pedigree Leicester Longwools.
