Young Shepherds Final 2023

The final of the 2023 RBST Young Shepherd competition took place on Saturday 18^th November at the English Winter Fair, Stafford. The final was very well supported with 18 Junior young handlers and 13 Senior young handlers with many travelling long distances to attend the final.

Our judge Edward Lambert had the challenge of deciding who would be crowned the RBST Young Shepherd of the year. The results were:

Overall Champion and Senior Champion-Thomas Nash (Age13)

Reserve Overall Champion and Junior Champion- Oliver Clark (Age 12)

Reserve Junior Champion- Elise Rochford (Age 9)

Reserve Senior Champion- Rosie Burt (Age 16)

Congratulations and thank you to all the competitors who travelled great distances to be at the event and also special thanks to the English Winter Fair for allowing RBST to hold the grand final at their show for the second consecutive year.
