RBST is moving its sale of cattle semen "in house".

We will no longer be using Genus, but we would like to take this opportunity to thank Genus for the support and service they have provided over the years.

From the 26^th February 2024, breeders wishing to purchase cattle semen should now contact RBST directly, this is the same process for breeders enquiring about goat, equine and sheep semen.

The majority of cattle semen is now being stored with Scawfell Genetics, based in Cumbria. RBST already had a working relationship with Scawfell, who have successful collected semen from a number of bulls and already stored a small proportion of RBST semen.

The cost of the semen will remain at £10 +VAT per straw, (with the exception of a few bulls that are individually priced). Further details of this can be provided upon request.

Semen may also be available from breeds and bulls not listed online, so please contact RBST for further information.

The delivery charges will be confirmed for each order; however, the current charges are:

England, Wales and Scotland (approximately all areas below Aberdeen): £50

Northern Scotland (approximately Aberdeen and above): £75

Orders over 200 straws: £100

Handling fee: £5 per bull
